            Hello Wagon Train Members!

Let me be one of the first to say "Happy Holidays" .
Starting with Halloween to Thanksgiving to
Hanukkah to Christmas and finishing it all with a
Happy New Year. Mercy, that is a whole lot of
gatherings. Are you ready? Well, if not, I can help.
No, not with the shopping, cooking and cleaning! I
am referring to your home holiday decorations. I have
just added two inspiring Christmas tree skirts and
one beautiful table runner to the product line.

The current
Feature Item is the Cowboy Claus
Christmas Tree Skirt. It is about as country as a
smoke house! (I was going to say "as country as an
out house", but the comparison left a lot to be
desired). Anyway, I love the look of the tooled faux
leathers with the hair on hide trim. It reminds me of
a western jacket for Santa. It also goes well with the
other
Western Christmas Decor items. So, go ahead,
mix it up and have some fun!

   Celebrate the season the
Old West Way.
A Daughters Inspiration, the story behind two of
my newest favorites.

My daughters favorite color is, and has always been,
blue. As she matured and moved into her own place,
she used the color more and more in her home
decorating. Her dishes, both everyday and special
occasion are blue as is her entire kitchen color scheme.
And yes, so is her living room and office.  She said it
gives her a calm, peaceful feeling. A few years back,
she decided to decorate her Christmas tree in all blue,
silver and gold ornaments. To go with the color scheme,
she also started collecting snowmen of all sorts.
She even has a white fur rug she puts around
her tree to look like snow. It is a beautiful look
even if it is not western! So,in being the "I can make
that" mother that I am, I designed a Christmas tree
skirt and matching table runner with her in mind. I
found the perfect blue faux leather and a tassel trim
with gold and silvery white colors. But that was a bit
too plain. So, I added crosses (something else she loves
to collect) cut from white hair on hide. Still it was
missing something, Ah, yes - bling....in blue of course!
Now it is finished!
A Cowgirl's Prayer Christmas Tree
Skirt and Table Runner were born. This set is for all of
the daughters out there.  Peace!
