Just the way selling is important, even preselling is as important, especially if you’re an affiliate that’s trying to get more sales. You’re basically doing nothing but warming up your prospect before forwarding him to the sales page to get a better conversion rate. Given below are a few effective tips to help you write a more convincing presell.
Sure, it is fine to discuss the business that markets the product, the creators, but keep it to a minimum unless there is something really compelling to reveal. Regardless of what you write in your presell, it has to be able to stand on its own because it imparts something useful. Whether or not you talk about the developer, the focus of your presell needs to be on the product and not the person who made it. What do you think about when you are evaluating a potential buy? That will give you a good idea of what your readers are asking. How can this help me and my problem? The legendary “warm fuzzy” which is just an overall feeling that summarizes everything and is usually a go-no-go type of feeling. If you think any discussion on those points are needed, then go ahead and give it a shot. If your conversions are not what you like, then simply change one thing and see what happens.
With every presell, you should have one aim and that is to educate your prospect about the product you’re promoting, rather than trying to be pushy. Giving enough facts and supporting information that is product or service specific in a presell will support your main points along with enlightening the reader. It really will help things if your presell is interesting to read and not just dryly presenting facts, etc.
Do not forget to make totally sure about the sales copy for any product you are promoting because obviously poor copy will destroy all the good will your good presell copy just created. If it makes you feel better, and it may not, let someone whose opinion you trust read your finished copy and let you know the verdict from their point of view.
It is a known fact among experienced marketers that your choice of product to promote will figure in heavily with your success. But not only does the product have to be genuinely good, you must also feel good and positive about selling it otherwise that will find a way to come through in your efforts. So then it just depends on you, but for most people that positive feeling must be there or else their efforts will not be effective. It is normal to see things in whatever you are promoting that could be better, but it is always a matter of degree. If you have done the best you can and the reader buys, then there should be very minimal if no buyer’s remorse or surprises.
Every presell that you write should be focused on creating and presenting a better picture of the product that is being promoted, so that the prospect finds it easy to reach to a buying decision. Discover Blog Network.
